Send Me Week 4

Send Me

Our church partners with a mission in Nicaragua called the Mustard Seed Mission.  Through this mission, members of our church sponsor children in a similar fashion to Compassion.  With the two other churches who participate in the program, we purchased school supplies for the 300 sponsored children.

On December 12, the fourth night in our Send Me series, we formed an assembly line and packaged the supplies.  After packing the supplies, we worshipped God through song.  Andrew delivered a message about the importance of serving as an outpouring of faith, not obligation.  In other words, “Actions without faith is good, but good for nothing,” because ultimately the goal of service is to bring people to Christ.
